The focused work on developing behaviour for learning and the rigorous work around developing outstanding teaching and learning across ALT schools has also been reflected in the OfSTED Annual report 2012/2013.
"Teaching is at the heart of all school improvement – not woolly or unambitious teaching, but teaching that gets children ready for the next stage in education or employment. The best teachers always challenge children to do better, minute by minute, lesson by lesson, day by day. They exude authority and accept neither mediocrity nor work that is less than good. However, teachers can only teach well, and challenge pupils to do better routinely, if behaviour in class is orderly and attentive."
