The role will manage a number of discrete projects with and for the ALT primary schools with the aim of promoting and communicating their arts and cultural provision between classes, between schools and to the wider community including parents. Some of these projects will be with individual schools especially with Isle of Ely Primary helping them to make the new school building a lively and creative environment. Some projects may involve more than one school – shared exhibitions or displays for example.
The internship will work with teachers and children to agree and deliver the project activity. These will include creating display galleries in school; telling the story of creative activities through social media channels, newsletters or websites; developing new partnerships with local artists and organisations to reflect children’s learning; supporting events with parents; and supporting teachers’ activity in the classroom.
This is an internship supported by Young Fenland Cultural Consortium. The role will work with and be supported by the 20Twenty Productions team.
